Naruto gazed at everyone. Everyone was scattered about, Kiba was with a group of people, Shino was with someone, and Sasuke was sitting by himself. He walked to the front of the school and he stood in front of the big, wide, metal doors. So many people were shouting and talking. Kiba walked over to him with a group of boys by his side.

"Naruto, these are my friends. This is Shikamaru." He pointed to a boy with short black hair that was pulled into a ponytail.

"This is Choji." He pointed to a chubby boy with brownish-orange hair and almond-shape eyes.

"This is Sakura." He pointed to a girl with pink, short, feathered-cut hair that came down to her shoulders and grassy green eyes.

"And this is Ino." He pointed to a girl with light blonde, thin hair that was wrapped into a ponytail.

Naruto looked at each person, but he didn't say a word.

"Hey…so your new here?" Ino asked.

"Yeah…"

It stayed quiet between the group. Sakura rolled her eyes.

"Come on guys, this boy is BORING!" She laughed. Ino joined along in the laughter, the others didn't. Ino and Sakura walked away and moved to another group of people.

"Forget them two Naruto, there the losers." Kiba said, trying to cheer Naruto up, but little did Kiba know that Naruto wasn't affected by it. Shikamaru looked at Choji and moved his head to the left, pointing to another group. Choji nodded and they walked away together.

"Uhh, wait guys! Sorry Naruto, don't worry. You're gonna make friends." Kiba ran after Shikamaru and Choji.

He continued to look around at others when all of a sudden the school bell rang. People started walking towards him. He looked at everyone wondering why people were coming to him. A kid walked by and opened the doors. Naruto looked at him then trailed after.

He paused when he got inside the school. It was a small room that had 2 doors on the right side and a big wide open area that leads into the rest of the school. The room was covered by cherry wood linoleum flooring. In the middle of the room hanged a black candle chandelier. The doors had signs on them. The first door said: Main Office. The second door said: Guidance Consular. He watched others walked through the wide, open area and he seen others walk through the office. He didn't know where to go so he went to the office. He walked inside the office. The off-white walls collected the sounds from outside the room. The room was filled with teachers and computers. Naruto walked up to the main desk where a woman was typing on the computer.

"May I help you?" The lady behind the desk asks.

"I'm new to public school. I had been homeschool." He explained.

"Oh, okay. Well, I have the perfect kid to take you to all your classes. She has been in this school already, she is a senior. Are you supposed to be a senior?"

"Yeah, I started early."

"Okay, let me call the student down. She is very friendly and sweet. Loyal and helpful too." The lady grabbed the phone that was next to her and dialed 2. She placed the phone up to her ear and said: "May I please have student service to the main office."

Naruto gazed upon everything through the room. From the pictures on the wall to the black and white tiles on the floor. In the corner of his eye, he saw a beautiful girl walk into the office. Her long dark blue hair looked perfect with her small pearl-colored eyes. She was well-dressed and had the perfect shade of make-up. Clear lip gloss was slathered over her full lips. Her spotless skin glistened in the sunlight. Naruto turned around and stared at her.

"You called?" She said in a gently tone.

"Yes, he is a new student in public school and I was hoping you show him around and tell him everything that goes on."

"Of course." The girl walked over to Naruto and gave him a very soft grin.

"Hello, I'm Hinata Hyuga. What's your name?"

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki."

"Alright Naruto, I'll show you too your classes. Can I see your schedule?" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a white piece of paper. He handed her the paper and she unfolded it. She read over the paper and smiled.

"Looks, like you're in all of my classes. This is going to be easy." She said. She gave him back his schedule. She walked to the door and Naruto trailed behind her. The hallways were crowded with people, doors, teachers, and lockers. The hallway was covered in yellow and light blue tiles. The floors were dirty from sticky gum, dirt and papers. The beige walls were covered by pictures and posters. The lockers were dark blue, most of them were broken.

"So how are you today?" Hinata asked while taking Naruto to his first class.

"Okay…I guess." He said. Naruto never liked to hold a long conversation with people.

"That's good. So, were you homeschool or something?"

"Yeah…"

"Cool. Are you excited to come to public school?"

"I don't know…"

"Alright…" Hinata stopped the small talk and just continued her way to the classroom. There way to the classroom was silent.

"This is your first class. You will go to this class every morning." She walked into the classroom and sat in the middle of the classroom. Naruto sat next to her. Kids filled the empty desks as time went by. A man walked into the room. His headband covered his left eye and a masked covered his mouth.

"Hello students, welcome to my classroom. My classroom motto is: In the ninja world, those who break the rules are scum, that's true, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum. It is posted on the chalk board every day. You can sit where ever you wish. By the way, my name is Kakashi Hatake."

People stared at the teacher with such excitement except Naruto. Kakashi looked at Naruto and saw his blank expression.

"Are you tired?" He directed the question to him.

"No…"

Kakashi sat down at his desk and took a closer look at the classroom.

"I remember most of you from last year. Whether it was from detention or you were in my class."

Sasuke walked into the class with a smirk on his face.

"I defiantly remember you Uchiha." Kakashi laughed. Sasuke took a seat in the back of the classroom.

"Alright, so let's begin."

Hours past and Hinata showed Naruto where all his classes were. She showed him to his locker, which was next to Kiba's locker. His next class is lunch.

Hinata walked down the hallway with Naruto at her side. She glazed over at him to see if he would say something but he didn't say a word.

"So, how do you like school so far?" She asked.

"It's fine…"

"Cool, school can be boring but fun at times."

They walked into the cafeteria together. Naruto gazed around the full cafeteria room. Long, square tabled filled the room. The kitchen was at the other end of the room and teachers were roaming around. The smell of ramen filled the air.

"This is the cafeteria. Let's go get something to eat." Hinata walked down to the other end of the cafeteria with Naruto.

Gray trays sat on the tabled, little ones to big ones. Hinata grabbed 2 small trays. She handed Naruto a tray. She walked down the path and grabbed food along the way. She grabbed a bowl of ramen and a juice. Naruto grabbed a bowl of ramen, a fruit cup, and a juice. She moved across the crowds of people and she sat down at the end of the table, in the back of the cafeteria. Naruto said across from her.

"You don't have to eat with me." He said, grabbing his chop sticks.

"Oh, but I want to." She smiled.

In the corner of his eye, he saw two girls walking his way. He looked up and saw Sakura and Ino.

"Hey Hinata, maybe you shouldn't sit with him. He is fucking boring as hell." Sakura laughed.

"Sakura! That's not nice, he is really cool." She said.

"Whatever Hina, he's a loser and if you sit with him then you're a loser." Ino replied, walking away. Sakura followed after her. Hinata sat there and continued to eat.

"You're not gonna leave?" Naruto asked.

"Of course not." She giggled. Naruto stared at her, waiting for her to leave.

"Are you serious?" He said.

"Yeah, I want to sit here, so I'll sit here."

"Okay…" Naruto stared at his food then began to eat.

"Don't worry what those girls say. They just like being mean."

A boy walked behind Hinata and poured a cup of milk all over her. Her hair was drenched in milk. She turned around and it was Rock Lee, Sakura's boyfriend.

Sakura and Ino started laughing. Naruto stood up and walked over to the boy.

"Say you're sorry." He said.

"Haha, I don't think so. Loser!" Naruto raised his fist and punched him in the face. Rock Lee fell to the ground.

Teachers ran to the area and grabbed Rock Lee. Hinata got up and grabbed Naruto from behind.

"Naruto, don't do that. I'm okay, it's just milk." She said, resting her head on his back.

"He poured milk on you so I punch him. I'm fine…just fine." He said with no feeling.

Teachers crowded over top of Naruto and pulled him away from Hinata's arms.

"Wait, he's okay." Hinata grabbed Naruto's arm and pulled him. The teachers pulled Naruto.

"Wait, leave him. He doesn't understand how public schools work." She tried so hard to keep a hold of Naruto. They snatched him away from her and carried him to the office.

"Wait, Naruto!"
